    • 12.[Payment]How can I find info about maintenance fees & meal fees, payment periods, and confirm payment status?
    If you are a graduate school student and have delayed graduation, you can apply for the residence hall.
    However, if you are an undergraduate, you have to take at least one class to apply the residence hall.
    • 11.[Payment]Can I get a refund for the meal fees if I move out early during the semester?
    Refer to the following circumstances:
     - You cannot get a refund if you move out within the last 15 days of the lease period.
     - If you vacate in the middle of the semester, an additional " 3days" meal fee will be deducted.     
     - If you have any issue regarding an internship or hospitalization, you can get a refund for more than 3 days.
     - You can get a refund for up to 5 days of meal fees in the event of the death of a close relative (e.g., parent, sibling, grandparent). In this case you have to submit a death certificate within 15 days of the passing.
    • 10.[Payment]I do not want to use the cafeteria anymore after the move in day, can I get a refund?
    You cannot get a refund after applying for the meal plan. Please contact the cafeteria directly for more inquiries. (T. + 82-62-460-5118)

     
    • 9.[Residential Life]In cases where the shower curtain becomes dirty
    Residents who live in building 9 and need to clean the shower curtain, bring your shower curtain and drop it off at the management office of building 9 B1.
    However, you should hang and take it off by yourself.
    • 8.[Residential Life]If I apply for sleeping out, do I not need to take a regular inspection?
    ● Even though you applied for sleeping out, you must have a regular inspection in the regular semester. If you do not have a regular inspection including re-visits due to absence, you will get 3 penalty points, and additional penalty points will be added per week until getting the inspection.

    ● In the case of regular inspections conducted during vacation, residents can postpone the date of inspection if an application for a sleeping out is approved in advance. (This does not apply during the semester.) 

    However, if residents enter the residence hall during the period of sleeping out or do not receive an inspection within a week after back to residence hall, they will incur 3 penalty points. In addition, 1 penalty point will be incurred until getting an inspection every week.

    • 7.[Residential Life]When are the regular inspections?
    ● Inspection date: The first Wednesday of every month 8 PM to 10 PM(the date is subject to change) . If not checked, the first Sunday, 20:00 to 22:00
      ※ If you do not undergo regular checks and the first recheck, you will receive a penalty of 3 points, and you must undergo the check on the following Sunday. Accumulate 1 point each week until the check is completed.

    ● Checklist:  Cleanliness, smoking status, identification of resident, Possession of flammable substances, equipment check, other matters, etc.

    ● How to receive an inspection:
     - Attach a 'revisit sticker' to the room door if absent during the inspection period
     - If you are absent even when revisiting, 3 penalty points will be imposed for "Do not have the regular inspection"
     - Penalty points can be imposed according to the room condition (dirtiness, damage, etc.)
     - Residents can be forced to move out if there are any signs of smoking
     - Residents can receive penalty points according to the residence rules if they use prohibited items.

    • 6.[Residential Life]I have moved out before the official short-term move out date of the spring semester. Should I get p
    Anyone who has moved out within the last 15 days of the lease period, will not be eligible for a refund according the residence hall rules.

    Therefore, students who moved out within this period will receive preferential treatment to be selected for residences if they applied for the same building as the spring semester.
    • 5.[Residential Life]There is a one-day difference between the move out and the move in date, so what should I do in the
    ● Current residents
      - Who have re-applied for the current room for next semester: You do not need to have move out for inspection but have to check in at 3PM on the official move out day
      - Who are changing building or room for next semester: After getting the room inspection for the move out by 2PM, you can only move in to the new room after 3 PM after having checked in

    ● New residents
    New residents can only move in on the official move in day, you cannot move in early due to any reason.
    • 4.[Residential Life]Can I move in if I do not have a medical checkup before the move in day?
    All residents must have a medical checkup before the move in day.
    However, a medical checkup is valid for one year; if it expires you will get 3 penalty points for every week of expiry status.

    • 3.[Residential Life]May I change residence hall buildings?
    ● Before the move in
    You can change the room within the dorms within a select period, but you cannot change after the period ends.

    ● After the move in
    You cannot change residence hall building, but you can change the room between the buildings of dorm 9 (e.g. 9A↔9B, 9C↔9D)
    • 2.[Payment]How much will I get back after the move in day?
    ● Early move out during semester  
     - Within 25 days from the move in date: "30 days" of maintenance fees will be deducted.
     - After 25 days from the move in date: the maintenance fee per actual day + 5 extra days will be deducted.
     - However, anyone who moves out within the last 15 days of the lease period will not be eligible for a refund.

    ● Early move out during summer/winter sessions
     - Summer/winter sessions are not applicable for early move out refunds due to the shorter periods.
     - Students who comply with the following circumstances will eligible for the refund with submission of the additional documents for the evidence.
      A) Anyone with a permitted explanation – e.g. a family death, critical medical condition(requiring long-term medical treatment), etc.- will be eligible to get a refund without any deduction.
      B) Anyone with a job-related explanation will be eligible to get a refund with the deduction fee of the maintenance fee per actual day + 5 extra days.
    • 1.[Residential Life]What are penalty points?
    The residents who violate residence hall rules will receive penalty points in accordance with the details of their violation.

    Residents who received more than 7 penalty points cannot apply next semester. If more than 10 points are received, they will be guaranteed an official move-out date but cannot apply for the residence halls for one year. 

    Penalty points will remain for one semester, including summer/winter sessions, after the violation for which they are received. After that semester, the penalty points will be removed.

    Penalty points can be offset through reward points that you can earn points through various opportunities such as satisfaction surveys, participation in donation programs, and fire drills.

    Details about the penalty points imposed for violating residence hall rules are as outlined in attachment 2 of policies.
