After residing for the long term in the first semester (including the summer), or the summer term, if selected as a resident for the second semester after applying for re-entry, you are given priority to choose the room you have been residing in during the summer. This is referred to as "room extension."
In other cases, room extension is not possible. After being selected as a resident, when applying for a room in the subsequent term, you must quickly apply for the room you previously resided in.
○ Cases with Room Extension Priority:
- Long-term residence in the first semester → Residence in the second semester: Room extension priority granted
- Summer-term residence → Residence in the second semester: Room extension priority granted
○ Cases without Room Extension Priority:
- Short-term residence in the first semester → Summer (long-term, short-term) residence: No room extension priority
- Short-term residence in the second semester → Winter (long-term, short-term) residence: No room extension priority
- Long-term residence in the second semester → Residence in the first semester: No room extension priority
